Fuel v1 started out as a layer-2 (L2) scaling solution for a monolithic Ethereum. When it was launched in the later part of 2020, it was the first optimistic rollup on Ethereum’s public blockchain. Step 1 = Visit this site and download Fuel Wallet. A zip file will be downloaded.
Step 2 = Now copy and paste brave://extensions/ or chrome://extensions/ on your browser. Enable the "Developer mode" switch on the top left, and simply either drag and drop the zip file here or click on Load unpacked and load your zip file.
Step 3 = If everything goes as planned, an onboarding page will open right away. Simply build a wallet, store your seed phrase, and validate it to complete the process.
Step 4 = Here comes the catch. First of all, you need to connect and authorise your wallet; this will authorise your application to execute other actions. So visit this site, connect your wallet and confirm your transactions.
Step 5: We will be using faucet tokens to exchange and offer liquidity, so please request one from your wallet.
Beta Testing
Step 1 = Visit this site and click on “Create Wallet” → Give me ETH → Get Swapping.
Step 2 = Perform the swap from ETH to DAI & vice versa
Step 3 = Click on “Pool” → “Add Liquidity”
Step 4 = Enter the amount of ETH and DAI you want to commit and just click on “Add Liquidity.” Your pool will be created.
